WHMIS Training Program (full version)
Developed on Oct 31 1985 by both Government, Industry and Labor, the WHMIS program was designed to create an understanding for the workers  and the communities  right to know about the physical and chemical hazards in the workplace and surrounding environment.
The purpose of this program is to prevent, avoid and therefore reduce illness and injury through education. By increasing the understanding towards hazardous materials including the use of such materials or entering into an unsafe environment, and by taking universal precautions for protection, the workplace becomes a safer place. These unsafe materials can include dangerous chemicals, daily used chemical products, or body fluid (blood, regurgitation) at the scene of a first-aid emergency.
